Pinto Carpentry's New Jersey Community Calendar for February 2026

Since Pinto Carpentry services most regions of New Jersey, we thought we’d bring back our community calendar celebrating some of the wonderful reasons you should visit and live in New Jersey!  For today’s blog, you’ll find fun family-friendly events across the state, especially in Union and Middlesex counties.  We’ve also got some great things to do for Valentine’s Day and Galentine’s Day in New Jersey as well!  Got an event you think our readers will enjoy? The Little Mermaid Sing-A-Long Event is coming to the State Theatre NJ in New Brunswick on Febraury 1st from 1PM to 3PM, perfect for a family afternoon out!

Find the perfect summer camp to entertain and enrich your children’s summers at the NJ Summer Camp Fair at the Montclair Art Museum in Montclair on February 1st from 12PM to 3PM.  From traditional camp and sleepaway camp options to short term day camps and weekly sessions, you’ll find something for all age levels!

Spend some time outdoors and participate in a time-honored tradition at Terhune Orchards for Wassailing the Apple Trees at the orchard on February 1st at 1PM through 4PM.

Take a Historical Society guided walking tour of Princeton on February 1st and learn more about the history of this beautiful city during your 2-mile stroll. Tickets are $20 and a guide will deliver a personalized tour to no more than 25 individuals. Tour does include stairs and hills; notify guide of accessibility accommodations needed.

Speed Meet Networking for young professionals takes place on February 5th, Thursday, from 6PM to 9PM. 21+ to attend and your admission ticket includes appetizers and refreshments. Come on out and connect with other locals looking for relationships, business ventures, community friends, and more.  At House of Playokee on Stuyvesant Avenue.

The Galentine’s Chocolate Walk is coming to Downtown Somerville on February 12th from 6PM to 8PM. Tickets are $5 per person and include a special tehmed tote, wristband, and a ticket to enter to win $50 in Somerville Dollars to spend in your fave local venues.  Sample delightfully decadent sweet treats from venues around town.  Some tastings may also include alcohol so this is a 21+ event.

The Hot Wheels Monster Truck Tour is coming to the Sun National Bank Center in Trenton on both February 12th and 13th, offering monster trucks and motocross all weekend long!  

Grab your bestie and head over to the Union Arts Center on Morris Avenue for a Paint and Sip Galentine’s event on Friday, February 13th from 6PM to 8PM. Attendees will get all the supplies to create, along with appetizers and refreshments. Must be 21+ to attend.

The Vivid Gala is raising funds for our community on February 24th 2026 stasrting at 6PM at the Oakes Center in Summit.  Come on out and enjoy a night of delicious food, drinks, and entertainment as we all support the mission of Vivid Stage.

The Branch Brook Park Roller Skating Center is hosting a special Valentine’s Skate Party event on Febraury 14th from 4PM to 9PM, $3 admission per person (skate rentals additional.)  Visit UnitedSkates.com to book.

Urban Glo is hosting a Candle Making Class for you and your friend, partner, or even those who fly solo!  Enjoy the art of making your own 10oz poured candle from 1PM to 5PM on Saturday February  14th.

Make some beautiful glowing Luminaries with your loved ones at the Tulpehaking Nature Center on February 14th from 2PM to 4PM, sponsored by the Mercer County Park Commission program. Register online in advance.

Enjoy a family friendly Woodland hike through the New Jersey Botanical Gardens in Ringwood on February 15th from 1Pm to 2:30PM and learn about local flora and fauna from a friendly docent.

The New Jersey Adventure Aquarium is hosting “Thats A-Moray” special Valentine’s event right at the aquarium!  Learn about the mating habits of under sea creatures including touch exhibits, and enjoy a buffet dinner, dessert, and animal lectures! Cash bar available with specialty themed signature cocktails as well as a beshind the scenes look at the aquarium’s Ocean Realm exhibit!  The event is Friday Febraury 16th from 7PM to 11PM.  You can also order a special “underwater diver-gram” to surprise your loved one! Special child-friendly activities and on-site “babysitting” are available for $45-$50 per child.

Behind the Vine is hosting a creative Plant and Sip class, yes you read that right, on Thursday February 19th from 6PM to 8PM.  Create your own beautiful arrangement with succulents and enjoy light appetizers and refreshments. Attendees can purchase a ticket online, must be 21+ to attend.

RENT in Concert is coming to the State Theatre of New Jersey in New Brunswick on February 19th. Grab your tickets now and enjoy a symphonic take on Jonathan Larson’s beloved musical with a full score of the show including all your faves! Tickets are selling FAST.

Disney favorite “The Princess and the Frog” is coming  to the UCPAC in Rahway on Febraury 20th from 7PM to 8:30PM for Popcorn and Pajamas daily movie night!  Enjoy a family friendly craft session prior to the movie when doors open at 6PM. Popcorn and crafts free while supplies last!

The Jersey Shore Comic Book Show is hitting the Toms River Elks venue on February 22nd from 10Am to 4PM! Come explore collectibles, trading cards, crafts, and toys and meet your favorite artists, celebrities, and cosplayers! Special guest artist feature by Bob Petrecca. The Star Wars 501st Legion will also be appearing!
