Pinto Carpentry's Recommendations for Local Pumpkin Patches and Best Pumpkin Lattes

It’s National Pumpkin Day! Today we’re celebrating with a list of great local businesses and farms to support for Autumn. Since we live, work, and play here in New Jersey, we love to highlight local things for families to do.

When we’re not in the shop or on a site installation, we love to explore all the incredible activities our state and county have to offer, so check it out and plan your next family bonding day. Stop by with your families and enjoy hayrides, pumpkin picking, feed the farm animals, and maybe even check out a corn maze or two. There’s plenty of amazing choices.

Snyder’s Farm in Somerset has duck racing, hayrides, a corn maze, a giant slide, plenty of chances to feed friendly farm animals, and of course, a pick your own pumpkin patch!

Melick’s Town Farm in Bridgewater has apple picking and pumpkin picking, as well as fresh made donuts, a special farm stand, and fresh apple cider!

Norz Hill Farm and Market in Hillsborough has a fantastic pumpkin patch as well as hayrides, a small petting zoo with unique animals, a brewery tent for grownups to sample local brews, fresh cider and donuts, and lots more!

Happy Day Farm in Manalapan has lots of U-Pick options from Sunflowers to Fruit to Pumpkins depending when you go! There’s also a small animal feeding zoo, tractor rides, and hay rides and lots of family photo op backdrops.

Ort Farms in Long Valley is a farm and pumpkin patch with lots of pick-your-own options as well as a train ride and a petting zoo.

Hillview Farm in Gillette is a wonderful rustic, old fashioned family farm with gorgeous photo ops, charming farm animals, and an outstanding pumpkin patch and apple picking.
